Description
Investigation of platelet aggregation induced by arachidonic acid.
Intended use
Investigation of congenital (e.g., Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia, gray platelet syndrome) or acquired thrombopathy (e.g. myelodisplasic or myeloproliferative syndrome, Waldenström’s disease, multiple myeloma).
Follow-up of patients treated with antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin, thienopyridines, abciximab and other NSAIDsand GPIIb/IIIa inhibitors.
