Chromogenic anti-Xa method for measuring homogeneously heparin in purified systems or in plasma (tested diluted 1:10) using a two stage method.
First, factor Xa, in excess, is inhibited by heparin in presence of antithrombin, also in excess (and provided in the assay), then the residual Xa activity is measured by its activity on the specific substrate SXa-11.
Intended use
Assay proposed for the measurement of anti-Xa heparin activity in research applications. This assay meets USP/EP requirements.
