5-ELISA ANTI-ACE 2, IgG Autoantibody

Description

This sandwich ELISA is designed with recombinant ACE 2 antigen coated onto the plate for capturing Anti-ACE2 IgG autoantibodies in the tested sample.
ACE2, is a cell surface receptor, present on many cell types, and is the receptor for the SARS-Cov-2, the virus responsible of COVID-19, by binding the spike protein at the Receptor Binding Domain (RBD).
Some infected patients can then develop anti-ACE-2 autoantibodies.

Intended use

For measuring Anti-Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (Anti-ACE2) IgG autoantibodies in plasma or in any biological fluid where they must be tested.
