MICROPARTICLES ASSAY
Novel assay for quantitatively measuring microparticles
procoagulant activity in human citrated plasma.
Microparticles are
released from some blood cells, mainly platelet or endothelial
cells, but also from monocytes or lymphocytes, upon cell
activation. They frequently expose phosphatidyl serine, which
focuses initiation of blood coagulation pathways.
Microparticles
are the markers arising as a consequence of the disease, but can
also be the cause of worsening of the disease through their
procoagulant activity. |

PL TGT Emulsion
Highly stable phospholipid emulsions are suitable for use in haemostasis research related to procoagulant and anticoagulant pathways.
The Phospholipid-TGT is specially suitable for use in thrombin generation (TGT) assays. |
