Eine neue Methode zur Bestimmung der prokoagulatorischen Aktivität von Mikropartikeln im Plasma.
Mikropartikel werden bei verschiedenen Erkrankungen (zB. kardiovaskuläre Erkrankungen, pathologische Infektionen oder Entzündungen) verstärkt von Blutzellen (zB. Thrombozyten, Leukozyten) generiert.
Da sie an ihrer Oberfläche Proteine wie Tissue Factor und Phospholipide freisetzen, erhöht sich das prokoagulatorische Potential.
Dieser äußerst sensitive Test kann sowohl zur Unterstützung der Diagnose als auch als Monitoring im Rahmen einer Therapie eingesetzt werden.
